About the Role
As a warehouse assistant you will be responsible for the picking packing and dispatching of goods from our warehouse in a safe manner. Additionally, you may be required to assist the quality assurance team when required to check product quality before dispatch.
What you will do
Picking and packing of goods and supplies
Maintain stock and general housekeeping standards
Ensure labeling accuracy
Conduct stock takes as required
Maintain a safe working environment at all times
Perform bar code scanning and data entry
Ensure incoming orders are correctly receipted
Undertake quality assurance testing of appliances
Other tasks as directed
What you need to succeed
LO / LF forklift license
School Certificate
Ability to work various shifts between the hours of 6:00am to 10:30pm Monday to Saturday
1 - 2 years experience working in warehousing / distribution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work well in team environment
Ability to manage time effectively
Formal qualification in warehousing or logistics is desirable
