About the Role
KitchenAid Australia is looking for a dynamic National Account Manager to join the KitchenAid family who is seeking a long term career with a premium global brand. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, we are looking for an energetic sales professional with a proven track record of developing and applying insight driven selling to exceed revenue, profitability and market share targets for your portfolio of accounts. With your demonstrated track record in thought leadership and negotiation, you will be proficient in execution of sales strategies to assist in delivering KitchenAid's vision to being the most broadly desired kitchen brand in the world.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Prepare, execute and review business plans with assigned portfolio of national accounts
Manage revenue, direct contribution margin (DCM) and trade partner investment (TPI) for defined portfolio of accounts
Develop programs to achieve maximum sales results consistent with sales projections, ensuring category targets are achieved
Optimize account management through insight driven selling and price margin realization
Drive successful product launches in liaison with trade partners and internal stakeholders
Effectively communicate national account strategies and tactical plans to sales representatives
Analyse business performance, including net sales, product rate of sale (ROS), ranging, product mix, demand planning , balance of sales and market share
Manage promotional activity in conjunction with key stakeholders, ensuring all activity undertaken is aligned with overall brand plans
Develop strong mutually beneficial partnerships with trade customers and internal marketing team
Leverage best practices with peers within region
Attend trade shows, customer events and other duties as required
To be successful in this role you will have :
Appetite and capability to be a future senior leader within sales or marketing
Bachelor of Business, related discipline or extensive sales experience
Minimum three years proven national account experience
Possess exceptional negotiation and influencing skills complemented with superior communication and ability to cultivate strong business partnerships
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
Insight driven selling experience with familiarity with GFK data
Strong training, presentation and relationship management skills
Positive, friendly and engaging customer centric approach
Strong ability to be self motivated and work remotely
Valid Class C Drivers license
Ability to travel locally, regionally and interstate as required
Previous account management experience within small domestic appliances is highly regarded but not required.
