About the Role


As a Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership, management and supervision to the Customer Service Team. You will do this through planning, organising and developing the Customer Service Team to deliver best practice service to all KitchenAid stakeholders.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop best in class customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth
  • Set a clear mission for the Customer Service team and deploy strategies focused towards that mission
  • Implement service procedures, policies and standards with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ensure the Customer Service team keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions
  • Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports
  • Recruit, mentor and develop customer service agents and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment
  • Keep ahead of industry developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement
  • Control resources and utilise assets to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities

About You: 

  • Minimum High School Certificate

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in customer service

  • Previous Management or supervisory role experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent phone communication style

  • Strong time management skills

  • Superb interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and capable of making independent decisions

  • Advanced computer and systems skills

  • Active listener with an empathetic approach
